This instruction show you guide on how to solve JCB 140 205 excavator C0393-13 swing lock solenoid open circuit error.

 

Preparations:
2025 JCB ServiceMaster 4 v25.1.0

2017 JCB Parts Plus+ and Repair Service Manual

JCB Diagnostic Kit

 

 

Possible Cause:

1 Swing solenoid not connected to machine wire harness.

2 Faulty Solenoid.

3 Terminal back out on the MECU wire harness connector.

 

Diagnosis:

1 Check the wire harness connection on swing solenoid. Refer below photograph.

2 Check the solenoid coil circuit resistance. The resistance of solenoid coil shall be 37Ω.

 

3 Check the circuit no 8049 on cavity no 56 & circuit no 4049 on cavity no 25 in the MECU wire harness connector in CAB base harness for terminal back out. Refer the below photograph.
